Makenzie Bennett

I am originally from a small town outside of Charlotte, NC. I always knew I would be in some form of fashion and design as I got older. But, I took a completely different career path in college and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at Mars Hill University in 2019.

Upon graduating, I was ready to change the world through education policy reform. After two years of non-profit capacity building, I was ready to change gears and start over with a creative career. The wedding industry had my name all over it!

I love working in the wedding industry because I can use the professional skill set that I learned from college AND my artistic side as well. It is the best of both worlds!

In my free time, I like to take my dog Fiona on walks, practice yoga, go thrifting, watch reality TV, or brewery hop!
