Getting to Know The Luxury Wedding Co.

Hey Y’all!

Welcome to our blog! We often get asked questions about the wedding industry, wedding planning, and overall advice. We will be answering those questions here! We will be posting weekly, about all things weddings. Before we jump into the wedding info, we need to introduce ourselves, so you can get to know us! 

Our Team

Terran is the owner & founder of The Luxury Wedding Co., and has knowledge of all things weddings! In addition to The Luxury Wedding Co. she owns our sister company, Della Terra Beauty. Terran was born and raised in Asheville, NC so she knows the area and all of our vendors well. Terran has always loved design, beauty, and fashion, so owning her own Boutique and all-inclusive wedding company was right up her alley!

Anna is our general manager, and the person all of our clients talk to! Anna was born and raised in Asheville, so she also knows the area well. Anna handles everything for our clients, from their initial consultation, and all of the planning,  to the day-of-coordinating on their wedding day. Anna has an eye for detail and ensures that all client expectations are met. Anna loves planning weddings, because she likes to help simplify the planning process for each couple, and loves for couples to actually enjoy their engagement. She thinks of wedding planning like planning a birthday party, and who wants to plan their own party? That's the opposite of what your engagement experience should be! 

Lastly, I’m Maddy. I am the administrative assistant at The Luxury Wedding Co., and I assist Terran and Anna in all of their planning duties. I will be writing the blog each week and providing you with all of the wedding info!

How We Got Started

The Luxury Wedding Co. is the second company that Terran founded. In December 2018, Terran was working as a professional makeup artist for her first company, Della Terra Beauty. In addition to this, she was also waiting tables at The Grand Bohemian Hotel. One Saturday, Terran was getting ready to provide bridal hair and makeup for a client. It had snowed the night before, so Terran was leaving her house earlier than normal. As she was walking out of the door, the bride calls Terran crying, and panicking, informing Terran that all of her other vendors had canceled on her. Terran informed the bride that she would do everything in her power to make her wedding still happen. The bride told Terran that she desperately needed a photographer, an officiant, and flowers, above everything else. Terran immediately got to work, compiling a last-minute team. She called her sister Tia, who just so happens to be a photographer. Next, she called a waiter friend, from the Grand Bohemian, who had just gotten his officiant license. Lastly, she called Daria, who had just collaborated with Terran, the previous week, and provided flowers for a photoshoot. Daria quickly assembled a bouquet, and a boutonniere, and delivered them to Terran. When Terran and the team arrived at the wedding, the bride was overjoyed and said that she would have paid Terran from the beginning to plan out her wedding. *Ding Ding Ding*! Being the entrepreneur that she is, Terran decided to create an all-inclusive wedding planning company, and The Luxury Wedding Co. was born! Terran ended up quitting her waitress job in January 2019, and opened the doors of The Luxury Wedding Co., in March! To this day, both Tia and Daria are vendors for us! 

Our Goal

We love planning weddings, and we love our clients. We do this job because we love creating beautiful weddings. We strive to make every bride's wedding dream come true. We recognize that not every bride has a type A personality, and they would rather just watch their dream wedding come to life. We also love convenience, with things like Doordash, or Instacart, we simply like the convenience of ordering something and waiting for it to be delivered. That's how we like to run things. We like for our couples to give us their vision, and we communicate with them throughout the process, and then deliver their dream on their wedding day! Sort of like the ‘Track My Order’ feature on Doordash! 

Conclusion

We know that each love story is different, and each couple is in a different stage of their life. Some of our couples have kids, some of our couples are older, some of our couples have been married before, and some of our couples are looking for a destination wedding! We see couples of all varieties, who want a simplified planning process. Whatever your love story entails, we would love to work with you, and make your dreams come true!
